SHREYA SRIVASTAV (XII B) - Winner of the Veer Gatha Project

Shreya Srivastav (XII B) emerged as one of the 25 awardees of the Veer Gatha Project, held at the national level. Her essay was selected out of 8.04 lakh entries from 4,788 schools and she received luminous laurels in the form of a medal, a certificate and cash prize of Rs10000 by the honourable Raksha Mantri, Shri Rajnath Singh and Education Minister, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan.

  • Kartik Mangla (X A) was selected for Smart India Hackathon Junior Competition in AWS Category.
  • He designed the app “Tour To Tourism”, which provides information pertaining to Tourism Industry.

 

ARYAN TYAGI (XII A) – Young Research Fellow

  • Aryan Tyagi (XII A) was awarded a certificate for Young Research Fellow by Professor Anil Sahastrabuddhe (Head of AICTE), Prof P.K Khosla (Chancellor of Shoolini University) and Prof Atul Khosla (Vice Chancellor of Shoolini University) in the Summer Patent School program at Shoolini University.
  • During the workshop he completed the first stage of designing and started the work on filing a patent for a cabin depressurisation seal for airplanes flying at high altitudes.

Dhananjay Raman has been invited to participate and represent India in the International Chemistry Olympiad 2021, being conducted by Japan in online mode, along with 3 other students. He received the honour after emerging as the topper in the lndian National Chemistry Olympiad Qualifying exam.

PETROLEUM CONSERVATION RESEARCH ASSOCIATION (PCRA) COMPETITION 2021

Nitya Maheshwari’s and Aarushi Singh’s entries have been qualified under Top 50 entries from the State of Delhi, under the painting and essay writing category respectively. They shall receive certificates and a cash price worth Rs. 2000 each by PCRA.

Dhananjay Raman (XII B) emerged as the topper in Indian National Olympiad Qualifier Exams Part II. He has been invited to attend the online Orientation camp, which would prepare the top 4 students for International Chemistry Olympiad, to be conducted virtually by Japan in July 2021. Dhananjay also attained the 25th rank in the Physics Olympiad exam and has been qualified to attend the Orientation camp for Physics in online mode.

Mitansh Sharma (IV B), is one of the youngest kids in the world to become a WhiteHat Jr Certified Game Developer. He has been awarded the certificate for game development by a panel of computer Scientists from IIT, Google, Intel, Microsoft and Amazon. WhiteHat Jr is a Global Online platform, the world’s first structured coding curriculum for early childhood.

Tanishq Choudhary, of class XII, has been provisionally selected for KVPY Fellowship Award – 2019, based on his performance in the Aptitude Test held during November 2019 and the Interview during January / February / March 2020, under the stream SA (subject to fulfilling the eligibility conditions of the award). ATHARVA PANJABI PRESENTS PROTOTYPE OF CONVERTIBLE STAIRCASE AND RAMP

Atharva Panjabi (VI A) and members of his team RockiT; were invited by Dainik Bhaskar group to interact with representatives of United Nations on December 21, 2019. Atharva and his RockiT team are preparing a prototype that works autonomously using robotics and can convert staircases of public places into an accessible ramp when needed by a person on wheels and back to staircase when not needed. This idea is directly linked with UN Sustainable Development Goal: 11 (Sustainable cities and communities) in terms of making our cities inclusive for all. A memento was also presented to Atharva for his creative efforts in progressing UNSDG agenda.

Dhananjay Raman (XI B) is among top 3 students from all over India, selected for Indian contingent for 24th International Astronomy Olympiad  held at Piatra Neamt, Romania. ISRO ONLINE SPACE QUIZ
172 students of classes 8 to 10 Participated in the online space quiz by ISRO which starts on August 10, 2019 and ends August 25, 2019. The Winners, top two students from each state and UT, will visit ISRO office to witness Chandrayaan-2 Landing on MOON on September 7, 2019 early morning.

All India Astronomy Test (2019) (01.2019& 28.1.2019 (Phase-1) and 12.4.2019 (Phase-2)

The All India Astronomy Test is a national Astronomy Olympiad Exam conducted by COSMOS Astronomy Education and Research Organization.

Seven students won coveted ranks in First National Online Olympiad of Astronomy in support of Digital India Programme (organized by Cosmos: Astronomy Education & Research Organization). They received  Virtual Reality Boxes and Certificates.

The exam was conducted in two phases.

In Phase 1 exam more than 150 schools all over India participated. Seven students of our school were selected for Phase-2 exam. Result of our students for Phase-1 exam is as follows:

DHANANJAY RAMAN selected for INTERNATIONAL ASTRONOMY OLYMPIAD 2019

School Prodigy Dhananjay Raman (XI B) has once again created history by emerging among toppers of Orientation cum Selection camp for International Astronomy Olympiad held at Guwahati from May 1 to 15, 2019.

He was felicitated for Best Performance Award For Lab Analysis. Out of 30,000 applicants only 20 were selected for camp and top 3 won the honour of representing country in International Astronomy Olympiad (Jr.) to be held in Romania.

Dhananjay Raman – Gold Medalist at International Junior Science Olympiad 2018

Last year, Dhananjay won Gold Medal in International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) 2018, held at Republic of Bostwana, Southern Africa. This victory was not easy, Dhananjay cleared following 4 stages and then cracked finals.

REGIONAL COMPETITION OF INNOVATIVE EXPERIMENTS IN PHYSICS

Ms Parul Priya (PGT Physics) and Ms Arti Singh (PGT Physics) presented their innovative experiments in the National Competition on Innovative Experiments in Physics experiments (NCIEP).

LEADERS AT – NATIONAL ONLINE MATHS COMPETITION - CLASH OF PI – SERIES 3 

The school team secured Rank 3 among 807 leading schools in the country in the Round 6 for the month of September in Clash of Pi - Series 3 (National Mathematics contest). 7 students bagged All India Ranks and 40 students were declared Power Performers.

NTSE SCHOLARSHIP

Arnav Gupta of X-D qualified for the NTSE Scholarship instituted by NCERT. He was among 58 students selected after two grueling rounds in which millions of students from all over India participated.

TOGETHER WE CAN CHALLENGE

The school team bagged the first prize for preparing an innovative air purification machine involving a dust filter and a coal fly ash filter to remove Sulphur Dioxide and Nitrogen Dioxide from air.

NOMINATION FOR INSPIRE PROGRAMME

7 Students who scored more than 95% in CBSE class 10 board exam were selected to interact with scientists at regional centre for biotechnology and learnt about breakthrough innovations in this field.

Our students have submitted innovative ideas for INSPIRE MANAK Awards Project Ideas instituted by Government of India, Ministry of Science & Technology.

WINNING AT GLOBAL OLYMPIAD FEDERATION EXAM

5 Gold, 6 Silver, 7 Bronze medals were won by our students in GLOBAL OLYMPIAD FEDERATION EXAM organised by GuruGram Welfare Society.

4th INTERNATIONAL HUMANITY OLYMPIAD

4 students received the Certificates of Merit for scoring impressive results in the Olympiad which was held to infuse consciousness, fraternity and love for humanity by Humanity Development Club, an initiative of Satyug Darshan Trust.

HINDI OLYMPIAD

Our students won 2 Gold and 1 Silver medals at National Level Hindi Olympiad organized by Hindi Vikas Sansthan, Rohini. Charvi Koranga (I C) won the Hindi Shrestha Samman.

CLASH OF PI SERIES-3

The school has consistently performed exceedingly well in Clash of Pi – a National level on-line mathematics challenge and secured top position on leader board with power packed performance.

The school team was awarded the first prize for Best Presentation. It included Bharat Luthra VII C, Bhavnoor Singh VIII C, Vansh Yadav VII B, Yash Mogha VII B, Manol Sahoo VIII C and Madhav Rustagi VI D. Nation’s No. 1 in PCRA Essay Competition

  • Harshita Kumar (X D) won Ist prize in National Hindi Essay Writing competition named Saksham organised by Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA). She won a trophy, a laptop, certificate and a trip to Singapore in June 2018.
  • Only 19 students were selected out of India.
  • It is a matter of pride that Harshita was the only student selected from Delhi.

ICT JUNIOR INDIA CHAMPIONSHIP NATIONAL FINALS

Manol Sahoo (VI D) was selected among top students in the country to compete in ICT Junior India Championship National Finals held at Bengaluru.

Highest Number of JSTSE Scholars in Dwarka

9 students were selected by Science Branch, Directorate of Education for prestigious JSTSE Scholarship. The school can boast of highest number of JSTSE scholars in Dwarka Sub City. The school has 45 JSTSE scholars till date.

National Science Examination in Astronomy (NSEA)

Kaustubh Miglani (XII A) qualified the National Science Examination in Astronomy (NSEA) organised by Indian Association of Physics Teachers.

Utsav Bhardwaj (XII-B) was selected for the prestigious INMO Camp-2018 held at Homi Bhabha Center for Science Education, Mumbai. He was among the thirty five students who qualified the Indian National Mathematical Olympiad 2018.

OCSC 2018 (INTERNATIONAL ASTRONOMY OLYMPIAD)

Dhananjay Raman qualified the Indian National Astronomy Olympiad and participated in 20th National Astronomy Olympiad Training Camp held at Nehru Science Centre, Mumbai.

He is among the 21 students selected from all over the country, out of which top 3 will represent India at 23rd International Astronomy Olympiad to be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka during September-October 2018.

Shrinkhla Kapoor (VI A), won the Creative Video Award and   Ms. Karamjit Nagpal won the Creative Teacher Award in Math-a-Thon – a video making competition in which 150 students from 12 schools participated. Shrinkla Kapoor created an innovative video which explained the concept of fractions using Maths Tools.

TIMES NIE NATIONAL APTITUDE (2017-18)

Mayank VIII A and Divangi Choudhary XI D were the school toppers of Times NIE National Aptitude Challenge 2017-18 and won a Tablet each. Aarushi Sharma VI D was the school topper of Times NIE National Aptitude Challenge 2017-18 and won a Bag.

He is among the 21 students selected from all over India, out of which top 3 will represent India at the 23rd International Astronomy Olympiad to be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka later in 2018.

 

INTERNATIONAL JUNIOR SCIENCE OLYMPIAD SELECTION CAMP

Dhananjay Raman (X B) has been selected for the Orientation-cum-Selection Camp to be held at Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education, Mumbai on the basis of his score in Junior Science Olympiad.  The top 6 students in the camp will be selected to represent India at the International Junior Science Olympiad to be held in Gaborone, Botswana in December 2018.

 

INTERNATIONAL ACCOLADES AT INMO CAMP

Utsav Bhardwaj (XII B) has been selected for the prestigious INMO Camp-2018 at Homi Bhabha Science Education, Mumbai. He is among the 35 students who qualified in the INMO 2018, out of which a team of 6 members will be chosen to represent India in the forthcoming International Mathematical Olympiad to be held in Romania in July.
