SHREYA SRIVASTAV (XII B) - Winner of the Veer Gatha Project

Shreya Srivastav (XII B) emerged as one of the 25 awardees of the Veer Gatha Project, held at the national level. Her essay was selected out of 8.04 lakh entries from 4,788 schools and she received luminous laurels in the form of a medal, a certificate and cash prize of Rs10000 by the honourable Raksha Mantri, Shri Rajnath Singh and Education Minister, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan.

• Kartik Mangla (X A) was selected for Smart India Hackathon Junior Competition in AWS Category.
• He designed the app “Tour To Tourism”, which provides information pertaining to Tourism Industry.

ARYAN TYAGI (XII A) – Young Research Fellow

• Aryan Tyagi (XII A) was awarded a certificate for Young Research Fellow by Professor Anil Sahastrabuddhe (Head of AICTE), Prof P.K Khosla (Chancellor of Shoolini University) and Prof Atul Khosla (Vice Chancellor of Shoolini University) in the Summer Patent School program at Shoolini University.
• During the workshop he completed the first stage of designing and started the work on filing a patent for a cabin depressurisation seal for airplanes flying at high altitudes.

ISHIKA ACHARYA - NATIONAL GENIUS AWARDEE 2020

Ishika Acharya (X D) was awarded National Genius Award-2020 for scoring 100 percentile in NGSE Advanced. She received a trophy, certificate and prize/scholarship money of Rs. 20,001.

Dhananjay Raman (XII B) emerged as the topper in Indian National Olympiad Qualifier Exams Part II. He has been invited to attend the online Orientation camp, which would prepare the top 4 students for International Chemistry Olympiad, to be conducted virtually by Japan in July 2021. Dhananjay also attained the 25^th rank in the Physics Olympiad exam and has been qualified to attend the Orientation camp for Physics in online mode.

He was selected to attend the Orientation cum Selection Camp in Chemistry at Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education in Mumbai from 20-May-2020 to 31-May-2020 for the 3^rd year in succession.

Dhananjay Raman of Class XII achieved yet another milestone by being invited to participate in GeCAA- an online version of International Olympiad of Astronomy and Astrophysics. Last year, he had emerged as a Gold medalist at the International Astronomy Olympiad, held at Romania.

• BEST BREAKTHROUGH RESEARCH

Kanishk Singh, of class XII A, has been selected by Harvard Medical School and MIT’s Joint Research Project on ‘Comprehensive study of Human Lung and Respiratory Tract Cancers and Development of an Effective Cure for Lung and Respiratory Tract Cancers’. He will receive a monthly stipend of $1500 for his research work till the project ends. He will be working jointly with Dr. David Baltimore, California Institute of Technology, United States as a researcher for ‘Non-Small Cell Lung Carcinoma’ & ‘Pancreatic adenocarcinoma’ research project.

• ALL INDIA 8^TH KOREA-NDIA FRIENDSHIP ESSAY COMPETITION 2020

Ojasvi Dureja of IX B bagged the 5^th Special Prize of Rs 2000/ in the Junior Category in the All India Indo-Koea Friendship Essay Writing Competition organized by Korean Embassy and Korean Cultural Centre. He is among the 21 winners from all over the country.

WHITEHAT JR CERTIFIED GAME DEVELOPER

Mitansh Sharma (IV B), is one of the youngest kids in the world to become a WhiteHat Jr Certified Game Developer. He has been awarded the certificate for game development by a panel of computer Scientists from IIT, Google, Intel, Microsoft and Amazon. WhiteHat Jr is a Global Online platform, the world’s first structured coding curriculum for early childhood.

KVPY FELLOWSHIP AWARD

Tanishq Choudhary, of class XII, has been provisionally selected for KVPY Fellowship Award – 2019, based on his performance in the Aptitude Test held during November 2019 and the Interview during January / February / March 2020, under the stream SA (subject to fulfilling the eligibility conditions of the award). He is eligible to receive the KVPY fellowship w.e.f. 1.8.2021, when he secures a minimum of 60% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) aggregate marks  in SCIENCE Subjects in the 12th standard Board Examination and pursues an undergraduate course, during the academic year 2021-22 in Basic Sciences after his 12th standard (+2).

Kanishk Singh (XII A) received full scholarship to pursue Bachelor Degree at Harvard University. He has received offers of admission from  the most prestigious universities like Harvard, Yale and Stanford Universities based on research paper on the topic ‘Abraxane, the Nanoparticle Formulation of Paclitaxel Can Induce Drug Resistance by Up-Regulation of P-gp’, which was published in The Organic Letters. ATHARVA PANJABI PRESENTS PROTOTYPE OF CONVERTIBLE STAIRCASE AND RAMP

Atharva Panjabi (VI A) and members of his team RockiT; were invited by Dainik Bhaskar group to interact with representatives of United Nations on December 21, 2019. Atharva and his RockiT team are preparing a prototype that works autonomously using robotics and can convert staircases of public places into an accessible ramp when needed by a person on wheels and back to staircase when not needed. This idea is directly linked with UN Sustainable Development Goal: 11 (Sustainable cities and communities) in terms of making our cities inclusive for all. A memento was also presented to Atharva for his creative efforts in progressing UNSDG agenda.

Dhananjay Raman Represented Indian Team in 24th International Astronomy Olympiad   (OCTOBER 19 TO 27, 2019) 

Dhananjay Raman (XI B) is among top 3 students from all over India, selected for Indian contingent for 24th International Astronomy Olympiad  held at Piatra Neamt, Romania. He received an official memorandum from the National Council of Museums, Ministry of Culture, Govt.of India. He  participated in Pre-Departure Training Camp in Kolkata from October 12 to 16, 2019.

The All India Astronomy Test is a national Astronomy Olympiad Exam conducted by COSMOS Astronomy Education and Research Organization.

Seven students won coveted ranks in First National Online Olympiad of Astronomy in support of Digital India Programme (organized by Cosmos: Astronomy Education & Research Organization). They received  Virtual Reality Boxes and Certificates.

The exam was conducted in two phases.

In Phase 1 exam more than 150 schools all over India participated. Seven students of our school were selected for Phase-2 exam. Result of our students for Phase-1 exam is as follows:

BEST PROJECT RESEARCH AWARD AT NATIONAL LEVEL

Atharva Panjabi (V A) won the ‘Best Project Research Award’ and also 2nd position at the National level ‘First Lego League – North India Robotics Championship’. He will be representing India at the upcoming First Lego League – European International Championship at Turkey competing with around 2,55,000 participants from 88 countries. This two day national level event was hosted by Manav Rachna International School, Faridabad.

STERLING PERFORMANCE IN JEE MAINS  (JANUARY 2019)

• It's a matter of pride that 12 students of class XII of BBPS Dwarka were ranked above 90 percentile in JEE mains (January 2019 Exams).

ROBOCUP JUNIOR NATIONALS 2019 (FEBRUARY 2 & 3, 2019)

BBPS DWARKA AMONG TOP 3 AT NATIONAL LEVEL IN

‘IDEATE FOR INDIA – CREATIVE SOLUTIONS USING TECHNOLOGY’

 AN ONLINE NATIONAL CHALLENGE (FEBRUARY 13, 2019)

15 students were awarded certificates of Appreciation and 20 students received  Certificate of Participation in Ideate for India - An online National Innovative Challenge in which 35 students submitted videos depicting creative solutions using technology.

CLASH OF PI SERIES-3

The school has consistently ranked among top 3 in the Grand Finale of Clash of Pi (2018-19) (on line National Mathematics Contest) in which more than 800 leading schools of India participated.

ALL INDIA ASTRONOMY TEST

Following students won a place for 2nd round of All India Astronomy Test. It is conducted by Cosmos Astronomy Education & Research and was organized at All India Level.
