We must take pride in our country where a school has always been synonymous to a second home and a temple of learning. This is India’s uniqueness. Our great philosophers have perennially pursued the best for humanity, society and nature. No wonder we gave the phrase Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam ages before technology turned the world into a global village.
With translucent cultural confines and easily accessible geographical boundaries, this uniqueness is at risk of getting lost. Democratic and secular minds are desired like never before. We need families, societies and schools that fortify the youth with ethics and values. The world today needs systems that churn out individuals who treasure high EQ and not just IQ.
I take pride in Bal Bharati Public School Dwarka for shouldering this mammoth responsibility ever sagaciously. The school is an impeccable amalgam of an international curriculum and cultural rooting.
