VEERA GATHA SUPER 25 AWARD

Shreya Srivastav of Bal Bharati Public School, Dwarka was awarded the Veera Gatha Super 25 award by SHRI DHARMENDRA PRADHAN, the EDUCATION MINISTER, and Raksha Mantri SHRI RAJNATH SINGH JI. The Veer Gatha project was started with the aim of inspiring and educating children about the heroic deeds and sacrifices made by the military forces. The school was the proud recipient of National Best Waste Wise Handprint Award under the Litter Less Campaign, organised by Centre for Environment Education (CEE), under the aegis of Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Govt. of India.

BBPS DWARKA BAGS 3050 POUNDS GRANT FOR COMMONWEALTH CONNECTIONS - INDO UK CLUSTER PARTNERSHIP

The school led a Cluster partnership with six Indian and six British schools as part of Commonwealth Connections, a unique project between Birmingham and the West Midlands and New Delhi. A grant of 3050 GBP has been granted to the school to facilitate this multilateral cluster partnership for promotion of Sports and Arts amongst Youth through collaborative endeavors. • Aditya Bakshi(XI A) won the NASTA State Level Critical Thinker Award, organized by KAMP (Knowledge and Awareness Mapping Platform). ​He has been awarded a sponsored visit to CSIR and ISRO laboratories.
• Arush Ramachandran (XI B) and Aritro Pal (X A) were selected as District Toppers and received medals of excellence.

MIND WARS OLYMPIAD 2020-21

Gitanjali Thiyagarajan (V B) emerged as the National winner in the Online G.K. Olympiad, organized by Mind Wars. She received a cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh, along with a certificate. Students of classes IV to XII from all over India participated in the event.

YOUNG SCIENTISTS INDIA

Innovative ideas offered by Aviral Garg (X B), Kshitiz Khandelwal (X B) and Mahek Mehra (X D) were shortlisted as top 100 ideas in a nationwide challenge, organized by Space Kids India. Only 100 students from all over India have been selected for the final round of the contest.

CLASH OF PI

Pranav Saxena (V C) emerged as the Power Performer, while 5 students from the school won All India Ranks in the Global Mathematics Circuit of Clash of Pi.

NATIONAL ALL ROUNDER CHAMPIONSHIP ORGANISED BY KIDEX

• The school figured in Top 25 schools in Kidex National All Rounder Championship interim leader board on the basis of Holistic Development Index (HDI)​
• Vedika Singh (V A) secured the third position under the category ‘Language and Communication’ at the National level with 255 points. Students from all over India and abroad (of Indian origin) participated in the championship.

VIRTUAL SCIENCE FAIR 2021 BY BRIDGE INTELIA KNOWLEDGE SOLUTIONS

• Agampreet Singh (IV C) crafted a creative sports activity video and won the top honour under the ‘Best Project’ category.

• 6 students from the school collectively won the distinguished ‘Best Digital Presentation’ for their PowerPoint presentation on game designing.

SPORTS SCHOLARSHIP FROM DELHI GOVT.

Ira Yadav (XII A) received a scholarship of Rs.2,90,000/- from the Delhi Govt. under the scheme, ‘Play and Progress’ for securing the Second Position in Delhi Inter-Zonal competition. The Scholarship was conferred by the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Mr. Manish Sisodia, in the felicitation ceremony held at the Chhatrasal stadium.

INDIA BOOK OF RECORDS

Niya Nandini (class VIII A) of BBPS Dwarka earned a meritorious place in the prestigious India Book of Records 2021 after setting a tremendous, nationwide record of performing the maximum rope skipping variations in 30 seconds. She has been bestowed with an honourary certificate, along with a medal, a gold-plated pen and other goodies, in recognition of her dazzling talent.
