VISIT TO SCHOOL FOR SPECIAL CHILDREN
On April 6,2024, the Interact Club students of BBPS Dwarka had the privilege to visit Holy Heart Special School, an institution dedicated to the education and care of children with special needs. The visit was organized as part of our school's community outreach program aimed at fostering inclusivity and spreading joy through various activities. VISIT TO SANJAY GANDHI ANIMAL CARE CENTRE
School Interact Club organised visit to Sanjay Gandhi Animal Care Centre to sensitize students about animal welfare.
- The students donated animal food, interacted with the volunteers and gained insights about the functioning of an animal shelter and the adoption process. They also designed a campaign to prevent cruelty toward stray animals.
ADULT LITERACY CAMPAIGN
In a laudable collaboration, students enthusiastically participated in the Adult Literacy Campaign organised by the Rotary Club of Delhi Janak. As an integral component of this noble endeavour, our students have assumed the role of educators, imparting vital reading and writing skills to adults. This campaign provides students with a profound chance to grasp the importance of education and actively contribute towards a better community.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH WEEK
To imbibe the qualities of sharing and caring in our children, a community outreach programme was organised for the students of classes I to V.
- The program provided a platform for our students to interact with underprivileged children. The aim of the programme was to sensitize the children to be kind and grateful.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH DAY
As a joint endeavor of School Interact Club and Mental Health Department, school organized a one day fun camp for children from nearby slum areas.
One day long fiesta comprised of:
1)Mental health activities
2)Sessions on Good touch and bad touch
3)Experiential science experiments
4)Handwashing activity
5) Storytelling and fun games
SMILES ALL AROUND- HELPING THE HELPERS
On the occasion of Interact Club Day, 'SMILES ALL AROUND” the latest initiative by Interact Club, envisioned to bring joy and succour to those who have always thought of our comfort.
Children were encouraged to assemble GRATITUDE KITS (comprising of biscuits, fruits, juices etc.) and distribute them to their real superheroes- Traffic Policemen, Guards, Housemaids
Feeding the Strays- The students also initiated a novel campaign of feeding the stray animals during this period. Our students upheld the true human values of compassion and benevolence through this gesture of kindness towards animals
