FESTIVAL OF MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES (FOMI) (MARCH 5, 2020)

Festival of Multiple Intelligences (FOMI) was organised for the students of classes I to V on March 5, 2020. Following activities were organized to provide experiential  learning .

SPRING OLYMPICS 2019-2020 (FEBRUARY 28, 2020)

Montessori department were organized colourful drills and fun races like Hoopla Race, Bucket race, parachute drill, Coconut Race, Balloon Race, Obstacle Race augmented the beginning of the spring season.

ECO ADVENTURE CAMP (FEBRUARY AND MARCH, 2020)

A fun filled picnic to Eco Adventure Camp, Najafgarh, was organised for the students of classes I – V in the month of February and March, 2020. It was indeed a power packed day of thrills and skill development.

FAREWELL “SANDISHYA”(JANUARY 20, 2020)

During “Sandishya” -Farewell organized  for students of class-XII,  students of class XI presented a Foot tapping music, dance show and short skit which brought alive memorable moments of time spent in school .They received best wishes from peers and teachers in a heart-warming program .Batch representatives of Old Bal Bharatians Association received letters of appointment .

BOOK WEEK (JANUARY 20 TO 24, 2020)

Several  interesting activities were organized during Book Week

Ms Devika Rangachari a renowned author interacted with the students and motivated them to read and write stories.
Ms Reshu Nigam, a popular storyteller brightened the day of the students with wonderful stories.
One Nation Reading Together: Beautiful thoughts and expressions about books and reading were written on the ‘Graffiti Wall’ by young readers.
Book Donation Drive- School took the initiative to conduct book donation drive, with the mission of ‘putting a book in every child’s hand.
WINTER CARNIVAL (DECEMBER 1, 2019)

The Annual carnival attracted thousands of visitors to celebrate glorious 75 years of the Child Education Society. Game stalls, food stalls and display stalls attracted one and all. DJ, Talent Show, Dance Performance and Flash Mob were appreciated by distinguished luminaries of the Board of Management.

PIT-STOP-FUEL YOUR CAREER 2019 (DECEMBER 9, 2019)

The school hosted a gala career fair, in which more than 15 universities (Ashoka University, KREA University, Benett University) participated in the event. Career guidance sessions were conducted to provide career planning support to students and parents.

FLAT STANLEY EXCHANGE

The students created their Flat Stanley friends and recorded their adventures and experiences in the form of short stories, which were shared with partner schools in France and U.K.

ANNUAL DAY (SENIOR DEPT.) (NOVEMBER 23, 2019)

On the occasion 22nd Annual Day, Chief Guest, Shri Anurag Tripathi, Secretary CBSE appreciated the achievements of the school and initiatives taken by the Principal. The Principal presented the yearlong achievements of the school in her Annual Report. The cornucopia of cultural items included – Mahavira, Udaan, Repertoire, Symphony, Jagriti, Hanso Nayatu Naah Pragyam and Shivaay. The student achievers in academics and sports were awarded during the Prize Distribution Ceremony. The School Principal was also felicitated by the School Management, Staff, PTA AND Alumni for winning All India CBSE Principals Award.

CONSTITUTION DAY CELEBRATION (NOVEMBER 26, 2019)

Students created infographic boards and quiz to raise knowledge quotient of students about Constitution of India.

SUM A TALE ACTIVITY (NOVEMBER 26, 2019)

Since time immemorial, stories have been everyone’s favourite to spread morality. Moral values such as honesty, truthfulness, forgiveness, kindness, giving respect to each other etc. should be inherited by every individual. Students explored, read and chose a story based on moral values. They decorated their script with colourful pictures to fostered moral values.

GURUPURAB (NOVEMBER 8, 2019)

The teachings of Guru Nanak Devji were disseminated through the procession, poem recitation, gurbani chanting and serving of Langar Prasad during Gurupurab Celebrations.

HEALTH CHECKUP CAMP (NOVEMBER 6 TO 8, 2019)

Health checkup camp was conducted by Ayaksha Clinic Team for 2238 students out of the total 2623 students in three days. There were 385 absentees.

A SEASON OF STORIES A BOOK PUBLISHED BY OUR YOUNG WRITERS (NOVEMBER 6, 2019)

In the Inter-Unit Story book titled ‘A Season of Stories’ – 14 stories written by the students of our school have been published. Out of which 10 stories were prize winning entries.

LEARNSTORM (NOVEMBER 4, 2019)

Students of classes from 6 to 10 participated in LEARNSTORM challenge initiated by Khan Academy and won celebration kits after completing milestones.

UTHAN YOUTH PARLIAMENT (NOVEMBER 1 & 2, 2019)

Twelve Students participated in Uthan Youth Parliament held at Bhartiya Vidyapeeth University in which the students debated on crucial topics affecting earth today. The event was graced by Mr Rabi Naresh, His Excellency of Lebonon.

CELEBRATION OF RASHTRIYA EKTA DIWAS/ NATIONAL UNITY DAY (OCTOBER 31, 2019)

National Unity day was celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. A Pledge Taking Ceremony and Run for Unity were conducted to mark this occasion.

DAY CAMP (OCTOBER 18 TO 23, 2019)

A Day Camp was organized for the students of Pre-Primary to Class V in which a variety of challenging and exciting activities were put up like Bouncy Rides, Puppet Show, Magic Show, Tug of War and Fun Games.

SCHOOL ENTERPRISE CHALLENGE

The school has initiated a recyclable bags project under British Council School Enterprise Challenge with an aim to replace the plastic bags on shop counters. Children are making paper and cloth bags and supplying them to shop owners in the nearby market.

MODEL UNITED NATIONS (SEPTEMBER 25, 2019)

During Model United Nations, the Executive Board promoted the agenda of limiting the use of single use plastics which was wholeheartedly supported & discussed by delegates.
United Nations Human Rights Commission and United Nations Security Council committees pulsated with students debating and deliberating on serious issues like India’s permanent seat in Security Council.
YOUTH PARLIAMENT (SEPTEMBER 24, 2019)

Youth Parliament was a pulsating platform for debating on pertinent issues by ruling and opposition teams. The event equipped the youngsters with debating, problem solving and decision making skills.

TEACHERS’ DAY (SEPTEMBER 5, 2019)

PTA Executive body felicitated the school Principal for winning CBSE Principal Award. The teachers who had completed 5 years of service in the school were also felicitated. Teachers displayed their creativity and talent in a highly entertaining and cultural show.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY AND INDEPENDENCE DAY (August 14, 2019)

Mr. Satish Kumar Gupta, SDM, Najafgarh Zone was the Chief Guest. Students’ display of patriotism through the items like Confluence of Symphony, Patriotic songs, Dances, Skit showcasing the patriotic flavor was highly appreciated. The new Student Council Junior and Senior were invested with badges.

ATAL TINKER FEST (AUGUST 21, 2019)

Atal Tinkering Lab of the school celebrated “ATAL TINKER FEST” in which 15 schools from all over Delhi participated. It comprised of the following innovative competitions:

The mentors Ms. Shweta Misra, NITI Aayog, Dr. Manoj Saxena, Dr Sudhir Verma, Dr Poonam Kasturi and Mr. Mayank Agarwal from Delhi University joined us for this mega event and gave an in depth view about innovation and its implications.

ELECTRONIC NICOTINE AWARENESS

Peer education sensitized students about ill effects of Electronic Nicotine devices such as E-Cigarettes & E-Hukhaa.

ODYSSEY OF THE MIND : ORIENTATION (JULY 10, 2019)

Bal Bharati Public School, Dwarka organized an orientation pragramme for the prestigious international level educational programme- Odyssey of the Mind. “The Odyssey of the Mind” provides creative problem-solving opportunities for students from kindergarten through university.

The orientation programme not only aimed at creating awareness about Odyssey but also to teach students how to think divergently by providing open-ended problems that appeal to a wide range of interests.

The event was attended by Mr. Prebhat Sachdeva (Association Director- OOTM India), Mrs. Madhu Phool (Judge & mentor-OOTM India) and Ms. Bindu Sehdev (Country Head- OOTM India).

Their presence not only gave in depth view about the programme and its implications but also added a motivating thrust to the event.

Students were briefed about the structure of OOTM by showing videos of the event. Students were also given the opportunity to solve spontaneous problems. They were divided into 5 teams of 5-7 students each. All teams competed against each other on grounds of verbal, hands-on and verbal-hands-on activities.

SUMMER CAMP 2019 (MAY 13 TO JUNE 5, 2019)

Over 250 students participated in various activities at Summer Camp which included Basketball, Aerobics, Cricket, Home Economics, Dance, Theatre and Western Music.

HINDI ANNUAL PLAY (MAY 16, 2019)

Hindi Play ‘Taj Mahal Ka Tender’ – a satire on the corruption in society was much appreciated by all for its theatrical presentation.

Dhoom – A Talent Hunt Contest 2019

Dhoom unraveled the talent of over 1600 students who participated in a large array of competitions in Solo & Group categories.

INNOVATION FAIR – ATL COMMUNITY DAY (APRIL 24, 2019)

Innovation Fair garnered an overwhelming response making it one of the most popular ATL Community Day of the year. In all 15 leading schools of Delhi and outside Delhi participated in this event. Judges were very impressed with creativity, critical thinking and problem solving skills displayed by young thinkers in Disaster Management, Drone Racing, Science Behind Magic, Magical Cards and Balloon Race.

NOVIS INTIIS – NEW BEGINNINGS (ORIENTATION & ACCLIMATIZATION DAY) (APRIL 1, 2019)

Various fun activities like fantasy world, fun in the sun, little hands at work, movie mania etc. were designed to start the new session on a cheerful note.

ADAPTATION WEEK (APRIL 9 to 12, 2019)

Adaptation week created a friendly and comfortable environment for the Pre-schoolers to settle down. There were a wide array of activities like fishing, sand play, water play, fun races, magic show, puppet show along with piping hot food. The week ended with a Beach party where in the children had immense fun at the pool with various water animals.

GRADUATION DAY (APRIL 5, 2019)

The Graduation Day showcased the significance of family and social values. Through their colourful dances, the students highlighted the importance of parents, grandparents, friends and teachers in the lives of the children. Some fun activities were also organised for the parents.

ORIENTATION DAY Pre-School (APRIL 6, 2019)

Parents of Pre-School were welcomed with pomp and fanfare at the orientation ceremony. Shri L R Channa, President, Child Education Society, graced the occasion which portrayed the magic of relationships by staging the dance items that showed the value of parents and teachers in the life of a child. The programme concluded with an interactive session of parents with Principal, Counsellor and Class Teachers.

Atal Tinkering Lab celebrated Avishkaar Diwas to foster scientific acumen and design mindset among students. Students showcased ingenious projects such as :
